Michael Mosley og hans team av doktorer er tilbake for å takle flere spørsmål om vår helse og velvære.

"Trust Me, I’m a Doctor" tar for seg hovedspørsmålene vedrørende helsen vår, og gir ukompliserte og sikre råd om viktige medisinske problemer og bekymringsverdige helseproblemer.

Ved å eksperimentere på sine egne kropper og ved å besøke noen av verdens ledende forskningssykehus, samler hans team av doktorer bevis for å kunne gi svar på de medisinske spørsmålene som møter oss i hverdagen.

I denne serien finner teamet ut hvordan eksponering for sol og en diett bestående av fet fisk påvirker vitamin D-nivået hos en gruppe kontorarbeidere. Teamet etterforsker tre såkalte superfoods – hvitløk, rødbete og vannmelon. Senker de virkelig blodtrykket? Koffein er en del av folk flests arbeidsdag, men gjør koffein deg mer våken? Teamet ser på saken og spør, hva er alternativene?

Serien spør også om sukker er like farlig som tobakk, finner ut om vi kan jukse oss til sunne matvaner, og ser nærmere på den økende trenden – og risikoen forbundet med – elsigaretter.
